Director IV Cecilia R. Nieto bid goodbye to the Civil Service Commission Regional Office V after her compulsory retirement on December 15, 2020. RD Nieto had been part of the Commission for forty-one solid years, the only government agency that she worked for.


     RD Nieto’s accomplishments and contributions to the Commission which were instrumental in achieving its goals were recognized during the simple activity at the CSC RO V on her retirement day. CSC Chairperson Alicia dela Rosa-Bala, Commissioner Aileen Lourdes Lizada, and other officials and employees also joined in paying tribute to RD Nieto by sending messages and well-wishes virtually.

     RD Nieto held an Accountant position upon entering the CSC RO V. Fueled by purpose and passion to serve the public, she was promoted as Division Chief of the CSC RO V Management Services Division, then Director II of CSC RO V Field Office. Later, she became the Director III of the CSC RO V before being transferred to the CSC Office for Financial and Asset Management or OFAM as Acting Director IV. In 2004, she was promoted as full-fledged Director IV at OFAM. Years after, she came back to the Bicol Region as Director IV of the CSC RO V.

     In view of RD Nieto’s retirement, CSC RO V Assistant Regional Director Atty. Daisy Punzalan Bragais now sits as the Acting Director IV while CSC Field Office (FO)-Camarines Norte Director II Rosalinni V. Moneda is the Acting Director III effective December 16, 2020.

     Meanwhile, Atty. Alicia P. Salinas, Supervising Human Resource Specialist from the CSC RO V Legal Services Division shall serve as the Acting Director II of the CSC FO-Camarines Norte.
